If you find a bat or have them in your home and would like them safely relocated, please text “I need help with bats!” to (941) 350-9599 and we will get a bat specialist to you ASAP!
Bats are essential to our ecosystem and provide many benefits. One bat eats up to 1,200 mosquitos per hour and roughly 3,000 insects per night! They are invaluable to agriculture as they control crop destroying pests. Bats are NOT blind and actually see quite well. Their echolocation helps them at night to capture flying insects that carry diseases. Less than 1% of bats contract rabies and if they do, they die within 3 or 4 days. They are not aggressive and are actually timid. If you find a bat you think is injured and needs help, do not pick it up with your bare hands. Contact us immediately.

We created this organization  to support our community's understanding of displaced native bats as they are rapidly losing their habitats. We formed our  organization to provide sensible solutions. We will offer safe relocation of Bat families and provide on site help when needed. We love this community and are grateful for your interest in helping us save our Bats!
